ActuallyFreeTools splits PDFs four ways for free: extract the exact pages you list (like 1-3, 7), cut the file into several parts, break it every N pages, or save every page as its own PDF in a zip. Pages are copied without re-encoding, so quality and selectable text are kept, and the PDF never leaves your device.

How to use it

  1. Drop the PDF.
  2. Choose Extract, Into parts, Every N or One per page, and type the page ranges.
  3. Download the new PDF, or the zip of several.

Questions people ask

How do I write page ranges?

Separate them with commas: “1-3, 7, 12-” means pages 1 to 3, page 7, and 12 to the end.

Will the split files be smaller?

Usually, because each holds fewer pages. Shared fonts and images are kept so every file still displays correctly.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Remove the password with Unlock PDF first, then split it.
