What it does
ActuallyFreeTools makes photos and signatures that online application portals accept, for free. Enter the exact width and height in pixels, the allowed file-size range (for example 20–50 KB) and the DPI from your form — or pick a preset — and it crops, resizes, sets the DPI and hits the size range, padding files that come out too small.
How to use it
- Drop your photo or a photo of your signature.
- Pick a preset or type the numbers from the form.
- Adjust the framing and download the JPEG.
Questions people ask
The portal says my file is too small — what do I do?
Set the minimum KB. If the image is naturally smaller it adds harmless padding so the file meets the minimum without changing the picture.
How do I make a signature image?
Sign on white paper, photograph it, choose a Signature preset and tick “Clean up the paper”.
Are the presets official?
They are common requirements, not any one portal’s rules. Always check your form’s instructions and type its exact numbers.
Is Photo & signature for forms on ActuallyFreeTools really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no daily limit, no watermark and no paid tier. Nothing is held back for paying users.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Photo & signature for forms runs inside your browser, so your files are processed on your own device and never sent to a server. That is also why there is nothing to meter or charge for.
