What it does
To convert HEIC to JPG for free, drop your iPhone photos here — JPEG is preselected — and download them as JPGs that open everywhere, including Windows and older apps. Why are my iPhone photos HEIC?
iPhones save in HEIC (High Efficiency) by default. You can switch to “Most Compatible” in Settings → Camera → Formats.
Can Windows open HEIC?
Only with an extra extension. Converting to JPG avoids that.
Is quality lost?
At the default 92% quality the difference is not visible.
