What it does
ActuallyFreeTools fills the real fields of fillable PDF forms — applications, tax and registration forms — for free. Type into text boxes, tick checkboxes, choose from dropdowns, then save; tick Flatten to lock the answers in. Arabic and other scripts are supported. Forms without fields can be typed on with the PDF editor. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop the form PDF; the fields appear on the pages.
- Click into each field and type, tick or choose.
- Save the filled PDF, flattened if you want it locked.

Yes. Open it in the PDF editor and use the Text tool to type anywhere on the page.
Will the person I send it to see my answers?
Yes. Values are stored in the form fields with proper appearances, so every PDF viewer shows them.
What does flattening do?
It turns the fields into ordinary page content, so the answers can no longer be edited.

Yes. There is no sign-up, no daily limit, no watermark and no paid tier. Nothing is held back for paying users.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Fill PDF forms runs inside your browser, so your files are processed on your own device and never sent to a server. That is also why there is nothing to meter or charge for.
